This series of works explores the intersection of both monochrome ink or colour and form through abstraction and figuration.

Inspired by surroundings of nature and architecture, franco merges reduced lineal forms of both line and curves into a harmonious composition.

Figurative work is often showing the intersection of the human form within the context of interior/ exterior environments.

The ‘Ode to Morandi’ series of paintings showing various contemporary design objects in ceramic on a table, pays homage to Giorgio Morandi. The simple bottle and object forms on a table painted continually through out his life, the quiet still life, reflective and studied simplicity a metaphor for Francos contemplative , creative life in bali.
